TROUBLESHOOTING

Symptom Possible Cause Solution

Platform does not rise to

full height.

Low hydraulic fluid. Add fluid as needed. See Periodic Maintenance in

the Maintenance section.

Lip does not stay

extended when leveler

lowers.

S1 Sequence Valve requires

adjustment 1/8” increments

clockwise at a time

See Valve Adjustment Procedure Section

Platform DOES rise to

full height, but lip DOES

NOT extend or extend

fully.

Low hydraulic fluid. Add fluid as needed. See Periodic Maintenance in

the Maintenance section.

S2 Sequence Valve 2

requires adjustment.1/8”

increments at a time

See Valve Adjustment Procedure Section.

Lip does not extend. S2 Sequence Valve 2

requires adjustment 1/8”

increments at a time

Lip extends almost

immediately when the

RAISE button is pushed.

Platform rises after lip is

Platform locks into

“safety” as platform

lowers. Lip drops to

vertical position.

Platform lowering speed is

too fast. NV1 Needle Valve

1 requires adjustment

See Valve Adjustment Procedure Section.

Velocity fuse failed. Replace Velocity Fuse

Incorrect fluid. NOTE: Extreme cold weather OR incorrect fluid

may cause platform to lock. Adjustment is same.

If adjustments and velocity fuse replacement fail to

correct problem, fluid replacement may be required.
